The 14-CD set, set to arrive next month via Rhino, offers a condensed 2-LP edition as well. The collection features the band's performances at various venues during their tour, including McCabe’s Guitar Shop in Santa Monica, the Metro in Chicago, and the Fox Theatre in Boulder.
The shows showcase 12 tracks from Chocolate And Cheese, alongside new material from GodWeenSatan, The Pod, and Pure Guava. One standout performance is a 24-minute version of "Vallejo" recorded in February 1995 at Athens’ 40 Watt Club. Tour engineer Kirk Miller recalls the electrifying atmosphere of the show, with Mickey diving over the drum kit into drummer Claude Coleman, who then rolled down a couple of stairs into the dressing room.
