The Vvaan Review: Sidharth Malhotra-Tamannaah Bhatia Starrer Has Its Heart At The Right Place, But Weak Narration Makes It A Strictly One-Time Watch Movie

The Vvaan is an unwatchable film that rates a dismal 0.5 stars. From the opening scenes set in a lavish Mumbai bungalow, where a couple is seen singing and engaging in inexplicable rituals, the movie quickly descends into a morass of offensive stereotypes and poor storytelling.

The film attempts to blend fantasy, folklore, and comedy, but instead delivers a disjointed and tasteless experience. Characters hopscotch between singing numbers, bizarre rituals, and supernatural battles, none of which feel cohesive or entertaining. The director Deepak Kumar Mishra fails to create a single compelling narrative thread.

Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannaah Bhatia, the leads, are saddled with weak characters and uninspired performances. Their chemistry is non-existent, and their attempts at humor and action feel forced and out of place. Supporting actors Anup Soni, Sunil Grover, Shweta Tiwari, Maniesh Paul, and Sulabha Arya are wasted in poorly written roles that contribute nothing to the film's potential.

The film's reliance on CGI monsters, horned bulls, and clichéd fight scenes further undercuts any attempt at visual spectacle. Instead of engaging the audience, these elements serve only to highlight the film's glaring lack of creativity and cohesion. Ultimately, The Vvaan is a torturous viewing experience that offers no redeeming qualities.
