Shakti Dal To Guard Biggest Traditional Public Spectacles As The 103-Year-Old Anant Chaturdashi In Indore

Indore will witness one of its most significant traditional public spectacles this Friday evening as the 103-year-old Anant Chaturdashi tableau procession takes to the streets. The administration has implemented stringent security measures, including special arrangements for women and crowd management, to ensure a safe and enjoyable event.

The procession, which begins at 6 pm on September 25 and continues into the night, will feature illuminated and mechanized tableaux, utilizing advanced technology such as AI, 3D effects, hydraulics, and special lighting. A total of 10 tableau committees will participate, with each presenting two or three tableaux. To address the expected large crowds, security arrangements have been divided into six divisions, 12 zones, and 22 sectors, with over 2,000 personnel deployed.

Watchtowers have been installed to monitor the procession route, and medical teams along with ambulances will be present at key locations to handle emergencies. In a unique safety initiative, a special team of women police personnel, known as the Shakti Dal, will be present to provide immediate assistance to women in the crowd. The procession will showcase various themes, including Indore's development, women's empowerment, Lord Ganesha's battles, drug addiction awareness, Lord Vishnu's divine dance, and more.

The administration has emphasized safety, crowd management, and monitoring for the event, with judging committees evaluating the participants based on specific criteria.
