Seidu Agongo To Distribute 10,000 Free Sewing Machines To Vulnerable Women, Youth

Alhaji Seidu Agongo, a philanthropist and businessman, plans to distribute 10,000 free sewing machines to women and vulnerable youth throughout Ghana. The initiative, in collaboration with the National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme (NEIP), aims to provide beneficiaries with employable skills, promote entrepreneurship, and improve livelihoods.

Alhaji Agongo's motivation for the project stems from his observation of the hardships faced by many underprivileged families during his travels across the country. He believes that with proper support, many young people and families can break free from poverty and build sustainable livelihoods. The beneficiaries would include school dropouts, widows, orphans, and other socially disadvantaged individuals who struggle with economic hardships and limited access to employment opportunities.

Alhaji Agongo emphasizes that the initiative is non-partisan and has been designed to ensure transparency, fairness, and equal access for beneficiaries across the nation. He has a history of philanthropy, having donated relief supplies, contributed to healthcare, supported education, and undertaken various humanitarian assistance projects.

Alhaji Agongo, a devout Muslim, believes that giving is a duty and a way to serve humanity, and he hopes that this distribution will empower thousands of women and young people to create livelihoods, build sustainable businesses, and contribute to Ghana's economic development.
