One in 10 Russian POWs held by Ukraine is a citizen of another country, with prisoners from 55 countries identified, according to Kyiv. Kyiv says Russia has recruited nearly 29,000 foreign nationals since 2022, increasingly targeting people in Africa, Asia and Latin America.
