Neymar steps up, trains on the pitch with Santos

He is unlikely to play in the Friday derby due to the urgency of his recovery. Benjamín Rollheiser, also recovering from a left thigh injury, is further along in his rehabilitation and may return for the São Paulo match. Willian Arão, another player with a medical issue, is doubtful for the game due to abdominal muscle pain. He may replace Luan Peres, the suspended center-back.

Santos is scheduled to return to training on Saturday to continue their preparations for the upcoming matches.
