Week 6 of Portage County high school football returned with a variety of matchups across different conferences. Cloverleaf, representing the Metro Athletic Conference, took on Streetsboro in a game where Cloverleaf currently leads 4-1. Field and Roosevelt also had games, with Field at 2-3 and Roosevelt at 2-3. Ravenna and Tallmadge played, with Ravenna at 3-2 and Tallmadge at 3-2.

Nearby Aurora and Revere faced off, with Aurora at 2-3 and Revere at 3-2. Garfield, part of the Suburban American Conference, dominated Southeast with a 5-0 record. Meanwhile, Mineral Ridge and Waterloo competed in the Mahoning Valley Athletic Conference, with Mineral Ridge having a perfect 5-0 record and Waterloo at 1-4. Chagrin Valley Conference saw Conneaut at 4-1 taking on Crestwood, who were at 1-4.

Northern 8 Football Conference had Sebring, at 1-3, facing Windham at 2-3. Nonleague games took place between Fairport and Rootstown, as well as Linsly and Mogadore, where Mogadore, at 4-1, has a significant lead over Fairport, at 1-3.
