Curry received a diagnosis at 29 years old and was fitted with corrective lenses, which allowed him to see clearly and stop squinting. Early diagnosis and treatment of keratoconus are crucial, as the condition can worsen over time and potentially lead to irreversible vision loss. Curry, now a two-time NBA MVP, is raising awareness about the condition through his foundation and by introducing an educational picture book for young people.
