‘My house is falling apart’: Sunita Ahuja seeks Gen Z support amid Govinda affair rumours

Sunita Ahuja, wife of Bollywood actor Govinda, has opened up about the turmoil in her marriage, urging women and Gen Z to lend their support. Her grievances stem from her perception that her home is falling apart, a sentiment she expressed during a recent visit to a temple in Kolkata. Ahuja, who recently appeared on the reality show Lock Upp, sought the blessings of the Goddess to vanquish "rakshas" (demons) in her life, admitting that there are indeed demons troubling her.

The actress visited the famous Lalbaugcha Raja in Mumbai along with Govinda and his alleged girlfriend, Komal Rani Swarnakar, which reignited speculation about the state of their marriage. Ahuja, who was previously seen in Lock Upp, emphasized that her marriage, which has lasted 39 years, is crumbling for no reason. She implored women and Gen Z to stand by her side, claiming that anyone who has daughters or daughter-in-laws can understand the pain she is experiencing.

Reports of trouble in Govinda and Sunita's marriage began surfacing in December 2024 when Sunita filed for divorce. However, in February 2025, Govinda's manager confirmed that the couple had been living separately but claimed they had resolved their differences. In August, Sunita reportedly withdrew her divorce petition. Despite Govinda's public dismissal of separation rumors, Ahuja's recent comments have once again brought attention to the alleged strife in their marriage.
