I've been a PC Gamer writer for 18 years and here are the 13 games on my Steam Wishlist. I often use Steam's wishlist feature to ensure I don't forget about projects with uncertain development timelines, such as Anvil Empires and Dawn of War 4. My favorite genres are first-person shooters, deckbuilders, and tactics. One of my favorite spiritual sequels, Kriegsfront Tactics, is a mechs-based game inspired by the beloved PlayStation series, Front Mission.

Space Station 14 is a multiplayer story generator astro-sandbox that has captured my attention. Hull Rupture, a spaceship tower defense with intricate pixel art, is another title I'm excited about. Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Tactics, the second spinoff in the franchise, is also on my list. Anvil Empires, a persistent medieval strategy MMO, is a project I eagerly anticipate, as does Despot's game cinematic universe's third installment.

Chris on my team recommended "Let's Build a Dungeon," a management sim where you run an MMO studio. An underrated gem, Enter the Gungeon 2, has me yearning for more bullet-hell roguelikes. Lancer Tactics RPG Maker is a mecha TTRPG that I'm intrigued by, despite its potential shoestring budget. Hunt: Showdown, an 18th-century FPS with occult elements, is my most-played Steam game, and I'm keeping an eye on this upcoming title.

Hooded Horse, one of my favorite publishers, is bringing Mars Tactics to life, and I'm excited about the Japanese sensibility in a western-style game. Wane, a last turn-based game, boasts fabulous art direction and a unique horror/Dishonored vibe. Lastly, D.O.R.F., a grimy-gorgeous Command & Conquer successor, impresses me with its size contrast between XXL tank units and infantry, and the developer's patience is commendable after showcasing the game at our PC Gaming Show in 2023.
