iPhone Duo video shows left-handed use for new model

Apple's upcoming iPhone Duo has left many potential buyers wondering about its suitability for left-handed users. In a video posted by Tom Hitchins on Instagram, a left-handed test of the new foldable device has surfaced, offering some insight into its usability for those who write or operate with their left hand.

The iPhone Duo is clearly designed for right-handed use, with the hinge situated on the left side, resulting in a straight edge. The right side, however, features curved corners that suggest a more natural opening motion. The dock, which is typically located on the right side of the display, may require adjustment for left-handed users - Apple has not confirmed an accessibility setting that would relocate it to the left.

While everyone's hand size is different, the only definitive way to determine if the iPhone Duo suits your left-handedness is to test it in person at an Apple Store. In Hitchins' case, he performed a left-handed test despite being right-handed, simply out of courtesy to other left-handed users. He reported that the device "works well enough," allowing him to reach from the left side all the way to the dock on the right.

However, he acknowledged that those who are right-handed and primarily use their left hand may have concerns about adjusting to the iPhone Duo's design.

As a left-handed iPhone user myself, I can appreciate the uncertainty surrounding the iPhone Duo's left-handed usability.
