Interswitch drives adaptive financial tech at TechConnect 6.0

Integrated payments and digital commerce firm Interswitch launched the sixth edition of its industry-focused TechConnect series in Owerri, Imo State, aiming to engage key stakeholders from government, financial services, technology, and business sectors. The event, themed "Built for What's Next: Designing Adaptive Financial Infrastructure for a Dynamic Market," will explore the necessary infrastructure, strategic partnerships, and capabilities required to support a rapidly evolving digital economy.

The multi-city roadshow, which kicked off at the Protea Hotel in Owerri, will continue through major commercial hubs in October, concluding in Lagos.

Tyoyila Aga, Interswitch's Vice President for Business Innovation and Growth, stressed the importance of building future-ready systems that can adapt to changing markets, customer expectations, and business needs. He emphasized that these systems must be scalable, interoperable, secure, and resilient to evolve alongside the market.

The Owerri kickoff event will feature a keynote address by Justice Okoye, Executive Chairman of the Imo State Internal Revenue Service, who will discuss the role of adaptive financial infrastructure in strengthening state institutions, optimizing revenue service delivery, and promoting economic participation across the country. The highlight of the gathering will be a panel discussion titled "Driving Digital Transformation Through Public-Private Partnerships," which will bring together industry experts to discuss critical operational aspects such as interoperability, cybersecurity, data protection, and system resilience.
