“I’m not Dead” –Kwame Dzokoto refutes death rumours

Actor and broadcaster Kwame Dzokoto has dispelled rumors of his demise, asserting that he is alive and currently grappling with health issues. In an interview on B.E. TV, Dzokoto addressed the speculation, stating that his health has become a cause for concern recently. He assured listeners that he is making a recovery and encouraged the public to overlook reports claiming his death.

"I'm not dead," he asserted, elaborating that he has been managing conditions such as high blood pressure and diabetes. Dzokoto, a seasoned actor recognized for his role in the popular television series Efiewura and his current involvement in Osumesi, revealed that he underwent surgery abroad with the support of President Ibrahim Mahama.

He expressed feeling better following the procedure and noted that some of his health difficulties could also be attributed to the natural process of aging. Beyond his acting career, Dzokoto is also a prominent figure in radio and television, as well as politics. He explained that his professional journey has evolved from presenting to management, though he holds a particular affinity for radio.

"I love doing radio," he said, emphasizing that the medium enables a unique rapport with listeners, as they cannot observe the presenter's physical movements or expressions. Dzokoto attributed his continued popularity to the style of his presentations, which he strives to innovate to maintain the audience's interest.
