Hindu religious leaders visit Khwaja Banda Nawaz Dargah in Kalaburagi

Four Hindu religious leaders from various mutts journeyed to the Dargah of Hazrat Khaja Banda Nawaz Gesudaraz in Kalaburagi on Thursday to pay their respects, underscoring the region's history of religious harmony and mutual respect. Among the attendees were Sri Channabasava Mahaswamiji from Dodda Hunase Kalmath in Savanur, Sri Nijagunananda Mahaswamiji from Bailur, Sri Guruling Mahaswamiji from Akkimath, and Basavalinga Swamiji from Muguliya.

They were greeted by Syed Mustafa Al Hussaini and Syed Aqib Hussaini, the younger brothers of the Dargah's Sajjada Nashin. The swamis were granted permission to perform ziyarat at the shrine and participated in the recitation of Fateha. Afterward, Syed Mustafa Al Hussaini joined the swamis for an exploration of the Dargah Sharif, offering insights into its historical and architectural importance, heritage, and notable features.

The swamis expressed their gratitude for the cordial welcome and hospitality provided by the Dargah representatives.
