FULL LIST: S’Arabia, Iran, others walk out as Netanyahu attacks Mamdani

Dozens of delegates walked out during Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's speech at the 81st United Nations General Assembly in New York on Thursday. The Palestinian Mission to the UN encouraged the walkout, as their representatives were also scheduled to speak later. As Netanyahu began speaking, delegates started leaving, with his supporters cheering him on.

He referred to those departing as "phony human rights protesters" and accused them of moral cowardice. Among the countries whose delegates left during Netanyahu's speech were Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Tunisia, Uzbekistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Algeria, Iran, Malaysia, Montenegro, and Kyrgyzstan. Other countries with empty seats included Jordan, Libya, the Marshall Islands, and Mauritius.

However, some of these countries still had at least one delegate remaining in the hall. Netanyahu also criticized New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani, accusing him of trying to silence him and spread lies about the Jewish state. Netanyahu denied accusations of genocide against Israel and stated that "Israel didn't commit genocide. Israel prevented genocide."
