EA Sports FC 27 presents a mixed bag of features, with positive strides in strategic elements and tactics that reflect real-world play, but still struggles with computer-controlled player behavior and open-world additions. The Grounds, an open-world hub, aims to foster a communal online experience but falls short due to issues like framerate drops and unnatural character animations.

These problems are further exacerbated by unskippable cutscenes and voice acting that feel as stiff and detached as previous iterations.
