Bleecker Street Names Frank Martinez as Head of Distribution

Bleecker Street has appointed former A24 executive Frank Martinez as Head of Distribution, the studio announced Friday. In this new role, Martinez will oversee the company's theatrical distribution strategies for both the Bleecker Street and Crosswalk slates. He will report directly to Bleecker Street CEO Kent Sanderson.

Martinez joins Bleecker Street with extensive experience in theatrical distribution. At A24, he served as Head of Theatrical Sales for three years, where he led domestic theatrical sales and contributed to release strategy and planning. During this time, A24's domestic box office revenue grew significantly from $151 million in 2023 to over $333 million in 2026.

Martinez was involved in high-profile releases such as "Backrooms," "Civil War," "The Drama," "Materialists," and "Babygirl," as well as "The Invite," "The Zone of Interest," "The Brutalist," "Marty Supreme," and the upcoming "Primetime."
