Barcelona forecast €700m in sales from fresh VIP seat packages

Barcelona anticipates generating approximately €700 million in committed revenue through the sale of 2,000 long-term VIP seat licences at the revamped Camp Nou stadium, according to a statement released on Friday. The club is offering these exclusive seats for purchase as either 15- or 30-year licences, with buyers making an initial payment.

The Barcelona club expects to sell all of these VIP seats within the next two-and-a-half seasons. This projected revenue would be generated throughout the duration of the contracts, as the club aims to transform its renovated stadium into a significant source of income. In December 2024, Barcelona finalized agreements for 475 VIP seats, valid for up to 30 years, valued at €100 million.

The club has already commercialized nearly 5,000 VIP seats, which account for over €380 million in committed revenue, with contracts varying in length. Recent reports suggest that Barcelona is exploring two new financing options totaling €510 million to address increasing costs and a shortfall in revenue stemming from the stadium renovation. The completion of the stadium redevelopment project is projected for the 2028-29 season.
