This beloved record holder boasts a new color balance and post-credit sequences teasing "Avengers: Doomsday." It is anticipated to earn between $25-28 million over the weekend. If audience turnout is particularly robust and it manages to surpass $30.2 million, it could potentially break the unadjusted record for the highest weekend ever for a re-release, which was set in 2011 by the 3D reissue of "The Lion King."

Oscar contender satire "Digger" starring Tom Cruise.
