All Things Go NYC, Global Citizen, Oceans Calling Festivals Canceled Due To Nor’easter

An approaching Nor'easter has brought down three major New York City music festivals, including CBGB, All Things Go, and Global Citizen. The harsh weather forecast calls for over two inches of rain and dangerously high winds, prompting festival organizers to cancel all three events. Each festival cited "consultation with local officials" and the "safety of our fans, the artists, and local crews" as the reason for their cancellations.

Refunds will be automatic for those who purchased tickets through AXS or Global Citizen, while others can seek refunds through their points of purchase. CBGB, which was set to take place at Under the K Bridge in Brooklyn, was the last to call off its festival, even as it had hoped the venue's location would protect it from the storm's worst effects.

The festival lineup included Morrissey, Interpol, Patti Smith, Mannequin Pussy, Sex Pistols featuring Frank Carter, and The Return of Jackie and Judy. All Things Go, originally scheduled for Forest Hills Stadium in Queens, was the first to cancel its event, with the Maryland edition still slated to proceed as planned. Global Citizen, which marked "the first time in 14 years" that the annual Central Park concert had been canceled, featured artists such as Lauryn Hill, Wyclef Jean, Lenny Kravitz, John Legend, Lainey Wilson, Shaboozey, and TOMORROW X TOGETHER.

The trio of cancellations adds to the growing number of 2026 music festivals impacted by severe weather, including Ocean City's Oceans Calling Festival and Ed Sheeran's Gillette Stadium gigs.
