A Google Photos bug is preventing users from sharing, editing, and deleting pictures

Pixel device owners are encountering a bug within Google Photos that impedes the ability to share, edit, or delete photos after they have been altered. This issue seems to be impacting various generations of Pixel smartphones. Google is actively working on enhancing the editing capabilities of the Photos app by refining the markup tools.

Earlier reports suggested that Google might introduce a brush size slider, additional color options, text alignment features, and more. However, before these improvements are implemented, a new problem has surfaced in the app's editor.

Typically, after editing a photo in Google Photos, users can seamlessly proceed with other actions such as sharing the image or adding it to an album without leaving the editor. For instance, if a user makes an edit to a picture, they should be able to share the modified image without any interruptions. Unfortunately, a bug seems to have disrupted this functionality.

Once a photo is edited, the options for sharing, deleting, and editing become unresponsive, preventing users from efficiently navigating through the editor's features.
