Yadim akan panggil pemain industri seni bincang garis panduan karya

(Facebook photo) KOTA BHARU: The Islamic Da'wah Foundation Malaysia (Yadim) plans to invite actors and other industry professionals soon to discuss the application of religious values and the appropriateness of content to local community standards.

The chairman said the session would provide a platform for industry perspectives, as well as clarifying matters that should be given consideration in creative work production. He said the meeting, which is expected to take place next week, will involve relevant parties from the relevant industry. "We have decided to meet with film industry professionals and actors to talk and discuss so that what we implement is in line with Malay values and suitable for local society," he told reporters after the National Da'wah Program Launching Ceremony and Opening Ceremony of Yadim's New Building in Kelantan today.

He said the issues to be discussed would not only involve content and language use, but also how something is presented in a media work to avoid causing confusion related to values and community understanding. He added that Yadim is also planning to hold discussions to explore these issues before considering the possibility of providing guidelines that are relevant to the current situation and needs.

"All of this leads to how we can provide an understanding and comprehension. And possibly a discussion so that people understand, and we can create a guideline that fits the current situation and is appropriate for our society," he said.
