Wawasan syak ‘tangan ghaib’ gantung PN menjelang PRN Melaka

Wawasan Negara criticized the Malaysian Registration of Associations (JPPM) for suspending Perikatan Nasional (PN) as a political tactic ahead of the Melaka PRN. The party questioned the existence of an "invisible hand" behind the issuance of the notices, as they were issued just before the dissolution of the DUN Melaka by Chief Minister Ab Rauf Yusoh.

According to Wawasan, PN announced they would receive two separate notices from JPPM on September 22 and 23. The first notice was a proclamation notice for the cancellation of registration under Section 13(2) of the Associations Act 1966, while the second was a suspension notice under Section 13(2A) of the same Act. However, Wawasan believes that this suspension action will not hinder their preparations for the upcoming PRN Melaka.

They will continue to cooperate closely with other PN coalition partners to ensure the smooth proceeding of their activities and are ready to take legal action against JPPM's actions, which they deny being a decision to cancel the coalition registration. Meanwhile, the Pejuang party demanded that the Minister of Home Affairs Saifuddin Nasution Ismail openly reveal whether there were any instructions from the government behind JPPM's action.

The minister must ensure that agencies under his ministry act independently, especially when such a decision directly affects national political competition.
