The mechanism also targets corporate bodies, academic institutions, legal practices, and associated entities. Submissions concerning organizations can include commercial titles, physical addresses, domain names, social media coordinates, contact numbers, email accounts, and personnel details linked to the organization. Submissions can be made anonymously without requiring identifying information from the reporter, although individuals who disclose their names and email addresses provide investigators a channel for follow-up communication if additional clarification is needed.

Reports require a detailed narrative outlining the specific activities suspected of constituting visa deception or abuse, along with a dedicated field for supplementary context or prior disclosures. The administration warns that submitting false information carries penalties, including financial fines and imprisonment. According to department privacy guidelines, data harvested through the portal may be used to support or enhance law enforcement investigations and administrative immigration reviews.

Information can also be shared internally for official purposes or transmitted to local, state, federal, territorial, tribal, or international law enforcement partners as required.

Authorities stressed that non-immigration offenses or general criminal acts should be directed to appropriate municipal law enforcement or relevant government bodies. Immediate threats to public safety or national security must be reported through emergency channels.
