UK far-right activist charged over Channel incident

Anti-migrant activist Daniel Thomas has been charged following an incident in the English Channel, according to Hampshire Police. The 37-year-old, known as Danny Tommo, was captured on video slashing at a dinghy with a knife. Thomas has been charged with criminal damage and failing to disclose the PIN to his phone. He has been remanded in custody and is set to appear at Basingstoke Magistrates Court on Friday morning.
