Two family members held over death of woman with disabilities in Kuala Kangsar

Police have detained two male relatives of a 49-year-old woman with disabilities whose body was discovered at their home in Kuala Kangsar with stab wounds to her leg. The incident occurred at Kampung Cheh Hilir, Kati, yesterday afternoon. The victim, Nor Ainon Omar, was found unconscious and covered in blood in the living room of the house.

According to Kuala Kangsar district police chief Assistant Commissioner Heisham Harun, the suspects are believed to be involved in a disagreement that led to the victim's death. A knife was found at the scene, and the victim's body was taken to Taiping Hospital for a post-mortem examination. The victim's husband and three children, who also have disabilities, were present at the residence.
