The Paradise review: Nani stands out in Srikanth Odela’s film that relies on tired tropes

The Paradise, a film directed by Srikanth Odela and starring Nani, is a movie that relies on clichéd storylines. Despite its big budget and promising cast, the film fails to offer a fresh take on the tired tropes of an oppressed community and a tyrannical landlord. Nani's performance as Jadal, the reluctant hero, is commendable, but the screenplay fails to match his effort.

Even Mohan Babu's villain character, Shikanja Malik, is underutilized. The film's female characters are underdeveloped, and the production values are impressive, yet the storyline lacks originality. The cinematography, fight sequences, and background score are noteworthy, but the editing and pacing are uneven. Given the film's potential, it is disappointing that The Paradise does not rise to the level of its expectations.
