STL Strengthens Neuralis Data Center Portfolio With New Fiber Trunk Assemblies

Sterlite Technologies Limited (STL) has bolstered its Neuralis Data Center portfolio with new Pre-Terminated Fiber Trunk Assemblies, designed to meet the increasing bandwidth demands of hyperscale and enterprise data centers. The company introduced Indoor Pre-Terminated Fiber Trunk Assemblies ranging from 48F to 576F, as well as Indoor/Outdoor Pre-Terminated Fiber Trunk Assemblies from 144F to 6912F.

These offerings are specifically engineered for high-density MMC, MPO, and LC terminations, adhering to ANSI/ICEA S-83-596 and UL OFNP/OFNR cable standards. STL's Q1 FY27 consolidated net profit surged to ₹197 crore, with revenue increasing by 87% year-over-year. The company's new assemblies boast a compact, high-density design, with cable diameters ranging from 5.8 mm (48F) to 12.2 mm (576F), and an outer diameter of up to 32.0 mm for the I/O versions.

The assemblies accommodate fiber choices such as single-mode ITU-T G.657.A2 (200 µm or 250 µm) for bend-insensitive routing, and OM4 multimode fiber for shorter-reach applications. Both indoor and I/O versions utilize STL's patented IBR rollable ribbon technology for splicing, and every assembly undergoes 100% factory testing with ultra-low loss connector performance grades available.

Dr Badri Gomatam, STL's Chief Technology Officer, highlighted that the Pre-Terminated Trunk Assemblies are pre-tested and ready for immediate connection, addressing the need for rapid capacity expansion in densely networked data centers.
