President Donald Trump reacted with annoyance to CNN's Kaitlan Collins attending his United Nations appearance, lashing out at her during the press line and posting a late-night rant on social media. Seth Meyers found Trump's response "dramatic" and likened it to an "angry ex." During his "A Closer Look" segment, Meyers examined Trump's ban of three major media outlets, including CNN, from the White House.
Trump, however, insists he's not banning journalists, stating it's merely a ban from the White House. CNN's Vance countered that Trump's press ban was unjustified, as the press is merely given a badge to cover the government official. Meyers dismissed Vance's argument, stating it's not special access, but rather a standard press badge. Watch the full "A Closer Look" segment above.
