Second phase of FCCI election for 2026-28 completed

Faisalabad, March 2026 - The second phase of the Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FCCI) election for the terms 2026-28 has been completed, with associate class polling concluding successfully. A total of 16 candidates contested for 14 seats, with Muhammad Saeed of M/s New Prime Electric Cables leading with 1,299 votes, followed by Muhammad Azhar of M/s AT Foods with 1,281 votes, and Muhammad Fazil of M/s National Traders with 1,283 votes.

The other successful candidates included Faisal Naeem Paracha of M/s Choudhary Traders, Muhammad Umar of M/s Mujadid and Sons, Asim Habib of M/s Chaudhary Traders, Muhammad Yousaf of M/s Cotton Yacht Fashion, Muhammad Javed Sharif of M/s Asad Textiles, Muhammad Mughees of M/s Al-Hira International, Muhammad Tanveer Riaz of M/s Friends Traders, Muhammad Farasat Ali of M/s World Cup Hosiery and Knitwear, Muhammad Asif of M/s Isha Textile, Abdul Salam Shahid of M/s Star Plus International, and Sadaqat Hussain Khan of M/s Punjab Public School.

The total number of votes cast for the associate class was 4,660, with 1,522 votes and 52 votes cancelled. The FCCI Election Commission, comprising Atif Munir Sheikh, Muzammil Sultan, and Chaudhary Muhammad Nawaz, reported that the elections were held peacefully and transparently. Following the completion of the Electoral College, eligible candidates for executive positions, such as President, Senior Vice President, and Vice President, can now submit their nomination papers, with the deadline being September 25.

The polling for these positions will take place on September 28, and the final and official results of the FCCI Elections 2026-28 will be announced during the annual general meeting on September 30, 2026.
