Boston Red Sox outfielder Ceddanne Rafaela, recently returned from the injured list, exited the game against the Cleveland Guardians in the third inning. Rafaela, who started the match and made an impressive diving catch on the first batter, pulled up while sprinting out a single in the second inning. He was attended by manager Chad Tracy and a trainer, who briefly jogged with him along the right-field foul line before he had to leave the game. He was subsequently replaced by Jarren Duran.
