Peter Obi is a lucky man – David Umahi

Minister of Works David Umahi has hailed Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Nigerian Democratic Congress (NDC), as a lucky man. While addressing supporters during a project supervision exercise, Umahi denied any personal attack on Obi. According to the minister, Obi believes that his opponents should verify his claimed achievements, but the exercise has shown he has achieved nothing, yet people continue to talk about him.

Umahi remarked that people accusing Igbos of insulting Peter Obi are unreasonable. He emphasized that Obi should not expect those working for President Bola Tinubu to stay quiet when the president is being challenged. Umahi stated that challenging the president and expecting the government to remain silent is unreasonable, as anyone who claims to be holier than angels must face scrutiny.
