Peshawar Opens Vaccination Center for Umrah Pilgrims

Peshawar has set up a specialized vaccination center at the Civil Surgeon’s Office to cater to residents preparing to embark on a journey to Saudi Arabia for the Umrah pilgrimage. Ghulam Murtaza Shah, the focal point, announced that starting from October 15, vaccination will become mandatory for Umrah pilgrims from Peshawar. Pilgrims are permitted to travel without showing proof of vaccination until October 14.

The newly established center boasts 20 vaccination counters, equipped to serve both male and female pilgrims, streamlining the vaccination process and managing the anticipated influx of visitors. In addition to the vaccination services, authorities have also established two NADRA facilitation centers within the vaccination center.

These centers will enable pilgrims to access essential NADRA services simultaneously with their vaccination appointments. Ghulam Murtaza Shah urged Peshawar residents intending to undertake Umrah to complete their vaccination at least 10 days prior to their planned travel date. The vaccination center will serve as the designated facility for Umrah pilgrims in Peshawar, in preparation for the October 15 deadline.
