Pakistan Investor Summit: NIC Karachi signs four MoUs to expand startup support

The National Incubation Center Karachi (NIC Karachi) forged four Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with entrepreneurship and industry organizations during the Pakistan Investor Summit 2026. These agreements aimed to enhance startups' access to mentorship, industry networks, technical resources, and entrepreneurial learning opportunities.

The summit, hosted by NIC Karachi, brought together startups, investors, venture capitalists, business leaders, and ecosystem experts to foster investment and collaboration within Pakistan's startup ecosystem. The first day of the two-day event saw startups from NIC Karachi's Cohort 14 and Cohort 15 pitch their ideas and solutions to investors, followed by one-on-one investor meetings.

The second day took place at ITCN Asia, with a broader audience of investors, technology leaders, and stakeholders. Keynote speakers included Baybars Altuntas, Areiel Wolanow, Wael Eldesouki Bedda, Faysal Ghauri, and Kashif Ul Haque, who contributed diverse perspectives on investment, entrepreneurship, technology, and digital transformation.

Secretary IT Gilgit-Baltistan Zameer Abbas emphasized the importance of collaboration among various stakeholders in unlocking Pakistan's innovation potential. Established in 2018, NIC Karachi has incubated over 440 startups, generating more than Rs13 billion in revenues and raising over Rs13 billion in investment.
