Over 15,000 Bsc Nursing Students Get Exam Results Across Madhya Pradesh

Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh: The Madhya Pradesh Medical Science University has released the examination results for over 15,226 BSc Nursing students, according to wire reports. The majority of the students, approximately 7,657, are in their third year, while 7,569 are in their second year. On Thursday, results were announced for 12,998 BSc Nursing students from suitable colleges with duplicate faculties, while the remaining 2,228 results were declared earlier in colleges without duplicate faculties.

In the third year, 6,308 students from 152 nursing colleges (with duplicate faculties) received their results on Thursday, and 1,349 students from 161 colleges (with duplicate faculties) received their results on the same day. Similarly, 6,690 students from 161 colleges (with duplicate faculties) secured their second-year results on Thursday, and 879 students from suitable colleges without duplicate faculties received their results earlier.

The university is preparing for upcoming examinations for around 28,000 students. The High Court's order led to the declaration of these results, as well as two applications filed in the High Court on Thursday. One application questioned the colleges' geotagging locations, while the other challenged a Rs 3 lakh penalty imposed by the High Court for every duplicate faculty member found in nursing colleges across the state.

The Law Students Association moved these applications, as part of a hearing regarding the ongoing nursing college scam. The association is aiming for a final decision on the results and academic futures of students awaiting their outcomes. The scandal has questioned the legitimacy of results from institutions that have not undergone thorough physical verifications, student eligibility checks, and historical record scrutinies.

Despite the suspension of three police officers, Bhopal lawyers protested by blocking roads in the city.
