Offinso North Assembly Commissions School Projects at Akomadan and Bosomposo

The Offinso North District Assembly has recently unveiled classroom projects at Akomadan and Bosomposo. The new constructions comprise a 6-unit classroom block for Akomadan Presbyterian Junior High School, a 3-unit block for Bosomposo Junior High School, and an 8-seater toilet facility for Akomadan Frafraline. Dr. Frank Amoakohene, the Ashanti Regional Minister, alongside the District Chief Executive, Mr. Caesar Ofosu Acheampong, officiated at the commissioning of these projects.

He expressed pride in the Assembly's dedication to enhancing education in the region and pledged to collaborate with the Director of Feeder Roads to enhance the road network and electricity supply to the communities. The Ashanti Regional Minister stressed the government's commitment to completing projects undertaken by the previous administration, in order to foster overall development and uplift the living standards of the people.

The DCE highlighted that the previous junior high school in Bosomposo had been operating from a makeshift structure, which compelled the Assembly to prioritize the classroom construction. Nana Boakye Akuamoah Boateng, Chief of Akomadan, urged the regional government to address the road conditions to facilitate farmers' transportation of produce and diminish post-harvest losses.

He also pleaded for the improvement of dams at Akomadan and neighboring communities to benefit tomato farmers, reduce imports from Burkina Faso, and alleviate the traders' struggles.
