Man arrested for punching Udon Thani student and stealing Yeti tumbler

On Tuesday evening, a 24-year-old student in Udon Thani reported being assaulted and robbed of his Yeti insulated tumbler while waiting to enter class. The incident occurred on Pho Chinda 5 Road in Nong Bua, Mueang Udon Thani. According to the student, a man approached him, attacked him twice in the face, and took the tumbler. Despite not being seriously injured, the student expressed concern for the safety of others, especially women, in the area due to the suspect's aggressive behavior.

He filed a police complaint. Later, police detained a 35-year-old man outside his home and recovered a tumbler that matched the student's description. The suspect appeared confused and provided unclear information to officers, who are currently questioning him. Police have charged him with robbery. The college plans to send lawyers to assist the student and follow the case.

Neighbors have also alleged that the man had a history of causing disturbances in the area, but these claims are still being verified by police.
