Kinsella makes GB return for Worlds a year after giving birth

Alice Kinsella, the Olympic bronze medallist, expressed her astonishment at being selected for the Great Britain women's artistic gymnastics team at the World Championships, just a year after giving birth. The 25-year-old, a two-time European champion, made history by becoming the first British gymnast to return to competition postpartum.

Kinsella competed in the beam event at the British Championships in March, finishing fourth and reaffirming her determination to compete at the highest level. She is set to represent the team in Rotterdam from October 17-25, alongside world medallists Abigail Martin, Ruby Evans, Becky Downie, and Alia Leat. Kinsella, who also got married over the summer, emphasized her pride in this achievement, stating that it is an incredible and surreal moment to be part of the World Championships just over a year after giving birth.
