Kanpur Central-Anand Vihar Terminal Express train approved: Check route, stops, timings and frequency

Indian Railways has recently approved a new train service between Kanpur Central and Anand Vihar Terminal to accommodate the high passenger demand during the upcoming Diwali and Chhath Puja festive season. The Kanpur Central-Anand Vihar Terminal Express will provide additional berths and serve as an alternative travel option for commuters between Kanpur and Delhi.

Operated under train numbers 14153 and 14154, the express will cover a distance of 428 km, taking approximately 8 hours and 10 minutes to complete the journey in one direction, and 8 hours for the return trip. This daily service will halt at eight stations, including Phaphund, Etawah, Tundla, Hathras, Aligarh, Khurja, Dadri, and Ghaziabad.

The Kanpur Central-Anand Vihar Terminal Express will depart from Kanpur Central at 20:40 hours, arriving at Anand Vihar Terminal the following morning at 04:50 hours. During the return journey, the train will leave Anand Vihar Terminal at 23:25 hours, reaching Kanpur Central at 07:25 hours.

The introduction of this new daily service is expected to strengthen rail connectivity between Kanpur and Delhi, offering passengers an overnight travel option and improved connectivity to key stations along the route. This service will facilitate seamless movement between Kanpur, Etawah, Aligarh, Ghaziabad, and the Delhi region, supporting passenger mobility across this crucial rail corridor.
