Haas to decide 2027 driver line-up within couple of weeks

American Formula One team Haas is in the process of deciding their driver line-up for the 2027 season, according to team boss Ayao Komatsu. The team has completed all evaluations and is currently reviewing the findings internally. Komatsu stated that a final decision will be made within the next couple of weeks. The team has been considering several options, including Ferrari-supported Brazilian Rafael Camara, the current 2025 Formula Two champion.

Other potential drivers mentioned include McLaren reserve Leonardo Fornaroli, Toyota-backed Japanese racer Ryo Hirakawa, and the team's current reserve, Jack Doohan. Komatsu confirmed that keeping Esteban Ocon as a driver is still an option, but the team has not made any decisions yet. Ocon, who joined Haas last year, recently declared himself a "free agent," although Komatsu noted that Ocon's situation has not changed significantly.
