Exclusive: First Look Inside Shilpa Shetty's New Mumbai Café 'The Blondie House', Here's What The Actress Likes To Order

In Aram Nagar, Mumbai, The Blondie House has opened its doors to the public, offering a unique café experience away from the usual city bustle. Co-founded by Shilpa Shetty and Ranjit Bindra, the venture brings together two existing brands – Blondie and Janu by Blondie – in a relaxed setting. Natasha Hemani, Brand Director of Blondie, explains that the café is designed to provide a "sweet little escape" for its patrons.

The Blondie House is split into two floors: one serving as an all-day café and bakery, and the other dedicated to books and community. The interior design draws inspiration from Japanese architecture and Scandinavian design, using materials such as concrete, marble, wood, greenery, pebbles, and natural textures. Key influences include Japanese architect Tadao Ando, whose work in concrete inspired the café's structure.

In terms of food, The Blondie House offers a broad menu that combines familiar favorites from both Blondie and Janu with Japanese-inspired dishes. Breakfast plates, café staples, and specially curated Japanese dishes are all on the menu, alongside a bakery and dessert counter. Drinks include matcha, specialty coffee, filter coffee, milkshakes, mocktails, and a rotating cart offering froyo, gelato, and house-baked goods.

A dedicated matcha and coffee Omakase experience is also planned. Shilpa Shetty, one of the co-founders, enjoys ramen, matcha, and smoothies at the café.
