Don’t play the victim when PN crisis internally triggered, PAS told

Amanah leaders have dismissed PAS's accusations that the government is to blame for the suspension of Perikatan Nasional (PN). According to Amanah, the Registrar of Societies (RoS) initiated the suspension after receiving a complaint from Bersatu, a component of PN that has fallen out of favor with PAS. Faiz Fadzil, the Amanah secretary-general, stated that PH had no involvement in the decision.

The RoS subsequently suspended PN after giving it 30 days to respond to Bersatu's complaint. Takiyuddin Hassan, PN and PAS's secretary-general, responded by saying PN is pursuing legal action and believes political pressure may be the cause. PAS also questioned the timing of the suspension, which followed the dissolution of the Melaka assembly to prepare for a state election.

Abbas Azmi, Amanah's mobilization director, countered that PN should address its internal problems rather than blaming the government, asserting that the issue originated within PN due to Bersatu's complaint to the RoS. He emphasized that PN's difficulties reveal weaknesses in its management.
