Days after a brazen sexual harassment case unfolded in Jamui, Bihar, another incident of alleged misconduct has emerged in Samastipur. According to reports, a young girl was reportedly harassed by a group of youths on a bypass road in broad daylight. The video purportedly capturing the incident shows the girl being pulled by her hair and subjected to abusive remarks.

The incident occurred in Samastipur, a few kilometers from the district headquarters, after the girl stopped to take photographs while traveling with a boy. Three men allegedly surrounded her, holding her hand and hair as she struggled to free herself. The men are allegedly heard asking her name and dragging her as she resisted.

Four suspects were arrested and questioned, while efforts are ongoing to identify the remaining offenders. Superintendent of Police Arvind Pratap Singh confirmed the incident is being treated as sensitive and a police inquiry is underway.

The Samastipur case follows a similarly shocking incident in Jamui, where a minor girl was allegedly molested and a boy assaulted. The footage shows a group of men surrounding the teens on a bike, with the girl allegedly being sexually assaulted and the boy physically attacked. The incident gained significant political attention, leading to the arrest of Nandan Yadav and Hareram Yadav under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act.

Two minors were also detained, with Yadav sustaining an injury during a police encounter earlier in the week, reportedly while resisting arrest.
