Presidenta de la Comunidad de Madrid, Isabel Díaz Ayuso, defended the eviction of 80-year-old Maricarmen on Thursday. "Yesterday, 25,500 evictions occurred, carrying out a law that this government has spent eight years trying to change," she stated at the Foro de Ideas para Crecer, organized by the Círculo de Empresarios. She criticized the head of the Executive, Pedro Sánchez, accusing him of "promoting the burning of streets" and hiding from the media.

Vicesecretary of Institutional Regeneration of the Popular Party, Cuca Gamarra, also criticized the housing crisis as the result of "a deep failure" in housing policies. "The president of the government has been in power for eight years, and this cannot be overlooked when discussing the housing policy of this government and the consequences it is having," she said in an interview with RNE.

Meanwhile, in Ceuta, Minister of Territorial Policy and Democratic Memory, Ángel Víctor Torres, presided over a new meeting of the Committee on the Situation of the autonomous city.
