‘Completely illiterate’: Parineeti Chopra defends Katrina, calls out trolls shaming new moms

Parineeti Chopra has defended Katrina Kaif against the trolls who criticized the actress for her appearance at the Ambani family's Ganesh Chaturthi celebration. The Bollywood star welcomed her baby boy Neer in October 2025 and recently expressed her frustration with the negative comments directed at new mothers. Parineeti Chopra stated that those who judge postpartum women for their physical changes are "completely illiterate."

She questioned why people feel entitled to comment on a woman's body after giving birth, especially when it comes to stretch marks and weight gain. Parineeti Chopra emphasized that a woman's body goes through significant changes during pregnancy and childbirth, and these changes should be celebrated rather than criticized. She also explained that she doesn't pay much attention to trolls, as she believes in focusing on her family, friends, and work instead of getting caught up in online negativity.
