Asim Richards is ready to step in at left tackle for the Saints while Kelvin Banks is out

New Orleans Saints tackle Asim Richards is prepared to fill in at left tackle for the remainder of the season while Kelvin Banks recuperates from a high-ankle injury sustained in their recent win over Baltimore. Richards expressed his eagerness to step into this significant role. He stated, "I am ready for the opportunity; it's a big one and I am ready for it."

He then added, "You've seen me at right tackle a lot last year and now you'll see me at left. I am coming into my own." Richards had been called upon to replace Banks late in the third quarter of a game against the Ravens following the injury. His performance in that situation was praised by quarterback Kellen Moore, who commended Richards for his preparation and adaptability.

Moore highlighted, "Asim has done a really nice job..." The Saints are currently experiencing a surge in momentum, which places additional pressure on Richards.
