Apple TV reveals new series with Hugh Laurie as organized crime boss

Apple TV has introduced a new crime thriller series titled "The Wanted Man," starring Hugh Laurie as an incarcerated crime boss plotting an escape. The series, which premieres on January 6 with its first two episodes, will release a new episode every week until February 17. Laurie plays a character named Felix Carmichael, a man who finds himself betrayed by a colleague and sent to the notorious Staplehurst prison.

With his family, business, and wealth at risk, Carmichael must rely on his own cunning to survive and plan his daring escape. The cast also features Thandiwe Newton, Fionn Whitehead, Gina McKee, Hazel Doupe, Elliott Heffernan, and Stephen Dillane. "The Wanted Man" falls under the popular crime thriller genre on Apple TV, alongside other successful series like "Last Seen" and a new season of "Slow Horses."
