AI-based tools will make election process simple and effective, says Keralam Chief Electoral Officer

D. Sajith Babu, Chief Electoral Officer of Kerala, spoke on Thursday, September 24, 2026, during a review meeting at the district collectorate, expressing that AI-based tools would streamline and enhance the election process. The tools are being developed per the guidance of the Election Commission of India, he noted. The discussion at the meeting also covered the quality of essential infrastructure at polling stations. Prior to the meeting, Babu had toured the EVM warehouse in Chathamangalam.
