2027: Tinubu listens, cares for Nigerians – Wike

FCT Minister Nyesom Wike has stated that President Bola Tinubu listens to Nigerians and cares for their well-being. Wike inspected road projects in Apo-Karshi and Bwari-Kubwa, emphasizing that good governance is the key to political success. He said, "If good governance is a barometer to measure whether a government has succeeded or not, then we have nothing to fear."

Wike declared that the Tinubu administration not only listens to Nigerians but also cares for them by solving their problems. He dismissed opposition rhetoric, stating that Tinubu will be reelected in 2027. Wike added, "This is the campaign. The people who will come, what will they come with? They will tell them stories. But we have not come with stories, we have come with facts, verifiable facts."

He further noted that Tinubu's Renewed Hope Agenda has shifted development priorities beyond the city center to include satellite communities. "The Renewed Hope administration has redefined infrastructure delivery as far as FCT is concerned, not just within the city, but also within the satellite towns," he said. Wike expressed no fear that Tinubu will not emerge as the president in 2027, stating, "I have no fear at all."
