Zelenskyy Meets Finnish And Norwegian Leaders In New York, Signs Drone Deal With Finland

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy convened with Finnish President Alexander Stubb and Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre in New York to deliberate on winter preparations, air defense, and safeguarding Ukraine's energy infrastructure from Russian aggression, according to UATV English. Zelenskyy expressed gratitude to Finland and Norway, recognising their significance as robust partners.

The primary agenda of their discussions revolved around the winter support package and bolstering Ukraine's energy security. Zelenskyy underscored the efforts to fortify Ukraine's air defense mechanisms prior to the impending winter and to dissuade Russia from employing ballistic missile threats. He also provided an update on his interactions with the U.S. team, emphasizing that there is an unyielding path toward peace.

"Russia must be pressured through sanctions and by extending support to Ukraine, ensuring it comprehends this reality," stated Zelenskyy. Additionally, Zelenskyy signed a Drone Deal with Stubb, describing it as a crucial stride towards jointly protecting citizens and fortifying collaboration between their nations. "We remain steadfast in offering our closest allies insights into what has contributed to our success in safeguarding lives," concluded Zelenskyy.
